About Us
We specialize in natural residential house cleaning in the Calgary area and clean every kind of home for every kind of owner!
When was Clean Cats established?
Clean Cats was established at the beginning of 2007 by Meg Willford and has served the areas of Millarille, Okotoks, Brooks in the past before settling in the City of Calgary.
Payments/Fees
What method of payment do you take?
We currently only take cash, cheque or e-mail money transfer.
Is GST included in your prices?
No, GST is not included in our prices and is added to each bill.
No - but is greatly appreciated if you choose to do so!
How do you determine your prices?
We charge on an hourly basis in increments of 15 minutes.
Are there any cancellation fees?
We do request that if you need to cancel an appointment you do so at least 72 hours prior to your appointment or we charge a half hour of service for last minute cancellations.
What do you charge for a lock out fee?
If we are not able to enter your home for a scheduled clean we do charge a lock out fee equal to a half hour of service.
Do you charge for late payments?
If payment is not received on time we do charge a penalty of $25.00.
Equipment
Do you supply your own equipment?
Yes! All equipment including our Dyson vacuums and cleaners is provided for our staff.
What kind of products do you use?
We use only non-toxic, biodegradable and (when possible) organic cleaners which hae no synthetic scents or perfumes. We will only accept a request to use a clients specific cleaning product if it meets our standards.
Staff
Are your staff insured and bonded?
Absolutely! If anything is damaged or broken by our staff we will have it fixed or replaced. Claims are filed when appropriate.
Do your staff require a criminal background check prior to employment?
Yes, all staff are required to have a recent security clearance (criminal background check) prior to employment.
What we need from you.
What if I am not satisfied with my service?
If you are ever in anyway not satisfied with our service please contact Meg immediately so we can address any concerns as soon as possible. We recognise the intimate nature of the business and we need your input to give you the best possible service.
Do I need to tidy up prior to your arrival?
To make our service more efficient please have all toys, clothing and other items picked up off the floor and general tidying taken care of prior to your scheduled clean.
How much notice do I need to give for additional cleaning services?
Please let us know at least 72 hours in advance if you have any additional cleaning needs on top of your regular clean so we can do our best to accommodate your requests. The more time given in advance the better!
Do I need to be home to let you in?
You do not need to be home and we prefer to work when the house is empty.
If you are not to be home to let us in please provide an appropriate form of entry for our staff, whether it be garage/alarm/door codes and/or a key. If we can not get into your home for your scheduled clean you will be charged for a half hour of service.
If you need to be home while we are cleaning your home please let us know!
Holidays and Illness
Do you work on statutory holidays?
Generally we do not - but on occasion we may make an exception so if you would like us to come that day please ask at least one week in advance and we will let you know!
If our regular maid(s) are not able to make it due to sickness or holiday do you send a replacement?
At this time our business does not employ enough staff to facilitate this - but with our consistent growth we will be able to do this in the future!
What you can expect
Do you come at the same time each visit?
Due to the nature of this business we cannot guarantee we will be at your home at the same time each visit but we do our best to accommodate any schedule.
Does the first clean generally take longer?
Yes, please keep in mind that we will most likely take a bit longer on your first visit since there is usually some build up to take care of! After that we will generally take the same amount of time at your home each visit.
